Weeks 1 and 2- Grade 6 students
In week 1, the grade 6 students presented to us their blog about music. They told us what to write on our blog. They gave us ideas for our central idea and our lines of inquiry. They showed us the pictures they took with the interviewers. They showed us the song they made. They helped us a lot. We noticed that PYP exhibition is very hard and challenging. It is also time consuming process.

Week 3-school visit at SPH
On the third week, we went to SPH for their PYP exhibition. Their transdisciplinary theme is How the World Works. First , they presented a show about planet Earth. When the show was finished, they told us to go to their booths. There were eight booths in the room. All of the booths have different topics, but all topics focus on Earth. They told us about acid rain, endangered animals and many more. Even though their topic is different, they still gave us ideas for our PYP exhibition. We learned that we have to protect Earth and not make it worse. We learned how to safe Earth.

Week 4-April 7
Our parents took turns in helping us with our blog. On week 4, Jason's mom, Mrs.Fiona, was our mentor. She helped us in our 5B music group blog. We came up with questions based on our lines of inquiry. We found some answers in the internet and typed them on our blog. We learned that when we search something, we must be specific. This was the beginning of creating our blog.

One of our parents came this week, and it was Feroz's mom. We came up with questions for our lines of inquiry, and we researched in the internet for answers. Feroz's mom helped us in researching. When we didn't understand a word, she told us the meaning of the word. When there were terms that we didn't understand, she helped us to understand it. We learned some new words because of this. She helped us a lot.

In week 5, we went on a fieldtrip to Global Jaya School in Bintaro for their PYP Exhibition. Their transdisciplinary theme is Where we are in Place and Time. First, they presented their show. They created their own instruments to for their dances. We learned that we can make musical instruments with almost everything. They did a good job performance. Then, we went to their booths. Their booths were interesting and decorative. We learned how to clean a gadget, how to organise our things so we won't lose them, how to play a different type of tic-tac-toe and much more. They also did a good job explaining.

In week 7, Ocean's mom came as our parent mentor. She organised an interview with a Soprano and harpist named Regina. Our appointment was on Monday in the restaurant in Pakubuwono. We also did the first and second lines of inquiry.

In week 8, Troy's mom and Ocean's mom came. After school, we went to Troy's grandma's house and we talked about what to do for our 12-minute presentation. After talking about the presentation, we interviewed Troy's music teacher. We asked her seven questions. She gave us suggestions on what we type on our research. We learned that there are four main types of music: jazz, pop, classical and traditional.

Week 10
On week 10, we finished our reflections and put it on the blog. We changed the pictures of our 'home', 'about', 'reflection', 'interview/music survey', 'attitudes', 'learner profile' and 'approaches to learning' pages. We used the online application Citefast for our citations, and put our citations on our blog. On Thursday, we went to Troy's grandma's house again to discuss. Now we are done with the research page, field trip page, attitudes page and approaches to learning page. We are working on the others.

On week 10, we finished our reflections and put it on the blog. We changed the pictures of our 'home', 'about', 'reflection', 'interview/music survey', 'attitudes', 'learner profile' and 'approaches to learning' pages. We used the online application Citefast for our citations, and put our citations on our blog. On Thursday, we went to Troy's grandma's house again to discuss. Now we are done with the research page, field trip page, attitudes page and approaches to learning page. We are working on the others.

On week 11, we tidied up the blog and we practiced for our presentation. We also made the poster. All the groups are practicing for their presentation. We discovered that in the Word document we can put the references in alphabetic order. We also finished our planner this week. Ms. Corita gave us examples of what to put in each box.

Week 12
This is the last week of our PYP exhibition. We finished creating the presentation and we finished creating the blog. Now we are practicing on our powerpoint presentation and performance. Our presentation is around 15 to 16 minutes. We are also making bookmarks for the audience to take home. Now, we need to memorize our part. We are a little bit nervous, but we are still confident that we can try our best and make this our best presentation that we have ever done in the PYP. Good bye to PYP, hello to MYP.
